Welcome Message

Literacy West NY, Inc. (LWNY) is a non-profit community organization working to promote literacy and lifelong learning for adults, youth, and families in Allegany and Wyoming Counties. 

We are dedicated to changing lives through literacy by offering free one-to-one and small group instruction in reading, writing, math, and English as a second language. We also support learning in finances, health, and the workforce. 

Special community events offered throughout the year promote reading and literacy for all ages.
